Frequently Asked Questions
"How do I schedule a deposition with your office?"
Scheduling a deposition with us is quick and easy and you have mulitiple options to schedule with us. You can go online through our repository, you can hover over the "Scheduling" tab and select "Schedule a Reporter" or you can call to schedule with our office staff. If you are trying to schedule with us through the repository, you must have your attorney username and password available. Don’t have one yet? Call or e-mail Nichole (kta@thayerreporting.com) and we will get you started.
"Can I cancel a previously scheduled court reporter online?"
Yes you can! Although, cancelling online is only available through your repository or via email. Just log in with your username and password that we have provided for you. Then, click on the “Calendar” tab at the top of the page, click on the scheduled date and click “Request Cancel” at the bottom of the page. That will notify us here in the office that you have cancelled the deposition.
"I do not need a court reporter but I do need a room to meet with my client." or "I don't need a reporter but I need to hold a mediation in your office."
We have mutliple conference rooms available for just that with complimentary refreshments. We can definitely accomodate you and your client's needs.
"I am a secretary/paralegal and would like access to the transcripts and other documents for my attorney. Is there a way to access my attorney's files?"
Absolutely! In fact we can set you up with your own username and password AND if you are a secretary/paralegal to mulitple attorneys we can grant you access to everyone's repository with just one username and password.
Contact Nichole at kta@thayerreporting.com and she will get you set up with your own username and password.
"I am not a secretary/paralegal but I am an attorney that is taking over a case for another attorney, is there a way to access their files while still accessing my own?"
Of course! This happens quite often and we are able to give you access so long as you have a username and password set up. If not contact our office and we will get you all squared away. As soon as you receive one you will be able to have 24/7 access to all documents pertaining to your new case!
"There is a deposition scheduled in your office and I am supposed to appear telephonically, is that available with your office"
Yes it is! There is no special number or special codes that you need to know. Just call our regular office number and we can transfer you to the room where the deposition will be held.
"I am from out of town and there is a deposition scheduled in your office, I need to mail/email documents to your office before the deposition so that they are prepared/ready for my arrival, is that possible?"
Definitely! If there are multiple boxes, go ahead and ship them to our office and we will hold them for you. If it is via email send the documents to production@thayerreporting and let us know what this is regarding.
